Plan. The foundation for financial prosperity is built upon a solid plan. Your financial plan should guide and inform all of the decisions you make regarding your finances. Something this important does not come about haphazardly — it requires a disciplined process and expertise.
Process. Financial planning is a process. It’s not a one-time event that is completed and then never reviewed again. This process serves an important role in clarifying your goals, educating you on the options available to you, and putting you in charge of your money. We believe that the process is as important as the financial planning document created.
Product. Your financial plan, derived through a disciplined process, will likely be implemented through the purchase of one or more appropriate financial products. However, and this is the most important point, product selection should come near the end of the process rather than driving the process. We encourage your clients to learn more about how planners are paid and how to select a good financial planner.
